SRINAGAR: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, along with Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, convened a meeting to review progress on the Boulevard Road widening project.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman of LCMA, Chief Engineer R&B Central Kashmir, Superintending Engineer R&B, Executive Engineers, and other senior PWD officials.
Addressing the officers, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the prime importance of the project for tourism development and directed the PWD to immediately resume work. He instructed that the project be expedited while ensuring timely completion and maintaining high-quality standards.
He also tasked the Vice Chairman LCMA with facilitating the executing agency to ensure smooth project implementation. During the meeting, the Chief Engineer (R&B) presented a detailed report outlining the current status of the project.
