Dy CM Surinder Choudhary Reaffirms Commitment to Responsive Governance, Meets Public Delegations in Jammu
JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today reiterated the government’s resolve to ensure prompt service delivery and speedy redressal of public grievances for strengthening governance at the grassroots level.
During an extensive public outreach session at the Civil Secretariat, the Deputy Chief Minister met several delegations from Jammu and Srinagar, who apprised him of various issues concerning civic amenities and infrastructural development in their respective areas.
After giving a patient hearing to the deputations, the Deputy Chief Minister assured that all genuine demands would be addressed in a time-bound and result-oriented manner. He directed the concerned departments to initiate immediate and effective measures for the resolution of public issues.
Emphasizing that responsive governance and efficient service delivery remain top priorities of the present administration, Choudhary said regular public engagement and timely grievance redressal are key to maintaining transparency and accountability in governance.
He further underlined the government’s commitment to ensuring equitable development across all regions and delivering the benefits of various schemes and projects to every section of society.
