SRINAGAR: The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Srinagar, has filed a prosecution complaint before the Special Court (PMLA), Srinagar, in a case related to the alleged misappropriation of government funds.
In a post on X, the ED stated that the complaint was filed under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, against Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, the then Chief Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Kashmir, along with four others — Rajnish Bal, Mohammad Amin Wani, Nisar Ahmad Bhat, and Imran Baba, a partner in M/s Baba Enterprises.
The court has issued pre-cognizance notices to all the accused, initiating further legal proceedings in the case.
