The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday arrested the chairman of the Al Falah Group in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Delhi Red Fort blast case. The move follows a series of searches and inquiries linking the group and its associates to suspicious financial transactions connected to the incident.
Authorities stated that the arrest was part of a broader effort to trace funding channels and gather evidence related to the conspiracy. The ED is examining the flow of funds, including alleged hawala networks and other financial irregularities, to establish connections to the accused.
The investigation is ongoing, and further legal proceedings are expected as the agency continues to scrutinize the role of the Al Falah Group and its leadership in the case. The ED emphasized that the arrest was made in accordance with due process of law and aimed at ensuring accountability.
