Mumbai: One of the most anticipated releases of the year, They Call Him OG, starring actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, is set to arrive in theatres this month.

Ahead of the release, the makers unveiled a powerful glimpse of Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi as the menacing Omi. The teaser and a brand-new poster were launched on Tuesday to mark Pawan Kalyan’s birthday.

In the teaser, Emraan steps into a rugged avatar, unleashing his dark side with a chilling birthday wish for OG, before the video cuts to Kalyan’s fierce look wielding a samurai. Thaman S’s thundering background score elevates the sequence.

The poster shows Pawan Kalyan exuding swag, seated atop a sleek black Dodge. Both teaser and poster come just days after the release of the romantic track Suvvi Suvvi, sung by Sruthi Ranjani and composed by Thaman S, featuring Kalyan alongside Priyanka Mohan.

Helmed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainment, the film also stars Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy. They Call Him OG hits theatres on September 25 and is touted to be a high-octane action drama.

The project also marks Emraan Hashmi’s Telugu debut as the lead antagonist. Pawan Kalyan was last seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, alongside Bobby Deol.
