Rajouri : In its endeavour to remember and honour our veterans and veer naris who devoted their lives in selfless service of the nation, Indian Army organised an ESM rally at Gambhir, Rajouri which saw an encouraging participation of around 100 members including veer naris. In the event, veterans not only remembered their days in uniform but conveyed their day to day issues pertaining to state of health facilities for them and their families in the area, pension related matters and the overall security situation in the region.
They promised their contribution in overcoming security issues with the security forces. Multiple stalls were setup to include an MI Room, Grievance Center by Zila Sainik Board, CSD counter and a special stall setup by Mr Yogesh Bhanot, Sadbhavana Coordinator for displaying the products made by women working in Sadbhavana projects at the Stitching centre which garnered a lot of enthusiasm and interest amongst the people present. He is also running a mobile repairing centre which helps people develop skills and employ them.
