Farah Khan and Akshay Kumar Reunite on Bigg Boss 19, Tease ‘Tees Maar Khan 2’
Mumbai: Filmmaker-actor duo Farah Khan and Akshay Kumar shared a fun-filled reunion on the sets of Bigg Boss 19, delighting fans with their playful camaraderie.
Farah took to her Instagram story to share a picture with Akshay, teasing a possible sequel to their 2010 film Tees Maar Khan. She wrote, “Tees Maar Khan 2 banaien kya?? @akshaykumar such fun hosting together.”
Akshay, along with his Jolly LLB 3 co-star Arshad Warsi, joined Farah for a special episode of the show. The trio brought humor, drama, and plenty of memorable moments while interacting with the contestants.
Known for his playful style, Akshay had a lighthearted session with many on the show. At one point, he engaged in hilarious banter with Farah, even recreating his iconic line, “Aurat banne ka shauk hai.”
When Farah asked about the release of Jolly LLB 3, Akshay joked, “I know you won’t go on the first day. I must tell you, this woman never buys tickets to watch films. Himesh Reshammiya buys them for her.”
On the work front, Akshay will next be seen in Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Arshad Warsi. The trailer, released earlier this month, promises an intense courtroom showdown.
The film follows a case involving struggling farmers whose lands are being seized by a corrupt businessman, played by Gajraj Rao. Akshay’s character finds himself in trouble, leading to a series of chaotic and witty exchanges with Arshad Warsi.
The cast also includes Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, Seema Biswas, and Gajraj Rao. Jolly LLB 3 is set to release in theatres on September 19, 2025.
