Srinagar: A man lost his life after falling from a walnut tree in the Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
Sources said that the victim, identified as Mohd Rafiq Mir, son of Abdul Aziz Mir and a resident of Check Achabal, accidentally slipped from the tree and sustained critical injuries.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
