Filmfare Awards 2025: Complete Winners List — ‘Laapataa Ladies’ Dominates the Night
Mumbai: The 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 took place on Saturday night at EKA Arena, Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad. The star-studded evening was hosted by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar, and entertainer Maniesh Paul.
The biggest winners of the night included Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan, who shared the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) award for their performances in I Want To Talk and Chandu Champion, respectively. Alia Bhatt clinched the Best Actress award for her performance in Jigra, while Nitanshi Goel was honoured as Best Debut Actor (Female) for Laapataa Ladies.
Lakshya won Best Debut Actor (Male) for Kill, while Kunal Kemmu (Madgaon Express) and Aditya Suhas Jambhale (Article 370) shared the Best Debut Director trophy.
However, the night truly belonged to Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies, which emerged as the top winner with multiple honours, including Best Film, Best Director, and several technical awards.
