Srinagar: National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah (87) was hospitalised on Saturday after experiencing health issues over the past few days, party leaders reported.
The former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister developed an abdominal infection earlier this week and was admitted to a private hospital for treatment, the leaders added.
“He was unwell for the past few days, but his condition is improving. He is expected to be discharged later today or tomorrow,” a party leader said.
