Mumbai: The festival of lights, Diwali, has arrived, bringing with it joy, warmth, and togetherness across the world. As millions celebrate with sweets, lights, and love, Bollywood and South Indian film stars have joined in to extend their heartfelt wishes to fans.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to X (formerly Twitter) to share pictures from the festive day — one showing him greeting a sea of fans outside his Mumbai residence, and another featuring glowing diyas. He captioned the post, “Many, many happy wishes for Diwali.”
Akshay Kumar also shared a warm message with fans, writing, “Har muskaan se roshan ho yeh tyohaar. Wishing you love, light, and laughter this Diwali.”
Hrithik Roshan posted his greetings saying, “Wishing love, light, and positivity surround you and your loved ones. Happy Diwali, beautiful people.”
Actress Soha Ali Khan treated fans to a glimpse of the Kapoor family’s Diwali celebrations, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Babita Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rima Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor. Diwali, a five-day festival that begins with Dhanteras, is celebrated with devotion and joy across India. The second day marks Chhoti Diwali (Naraka Chaturdashi), while the third day is the main celebration — when devotees worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi, seeking blessings of prosperity, light, and happiness.
