MATHURA (UP), Nov 25:Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari visited Barsana in Mathura, where he attended a Bhagwat Katha and interacted with devotees. The visit underscored his emphasis on cultural and spiritual traditions as integral to India’s social fabric.
During the programme, Gadkari listened to the religious discourse and highlighted the timeless relevance of the Bhagwat Katha in promoting values of devotion, harmony, and moral responsibility. He noted that such events strengthen community bonds and inspire collective faith.
The Minister’s presence in Barsana, a town revered for its association with Radha and Krishna, drew large participation from devotees and local residents. Organisers expressed gratitude for his visit, which they said reflected the government’s recognition of India’s spiritual heritage.
