Ganderbal Police, during a special drive against traffic violations at Model Naka Chinar, detained nine teenagers who were found performing dangerous and life-threatening stunts on the National Highway. Police also seized five modified motorcycles with concealed rear registration plates, in clear violation of the Motor Vehicles Act.
The detained teenagers will be released to their families after counselling and the execution of a good-behaviour bond to prevent recurrence of such acts. Ganderbal Police has urged parents to remain vigilant and advised the youth to avoid unsafe practices that put their lives and public safety at risk.
