Mumbai: Actor Anil Kapoor, along with his wife Sunita, visited the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on Monday to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi and offer prayers.
The couple appeared joyful as they sought Lord Ganesha’s blessings and interacted with fellow devotees.
Just days earlier, Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, co-stars of Param Sundari, also visited Lalbaugcha Raja for darshan.
The famed idol, steeped in history, is hosted by the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal at Putlabai Chawl.
Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi, honors Lord Ganesha as the deity of new beginnings and remover of obstacles. The festivities conclude on Anantha Chaturdashi with decorated homes, pandals, prayers, music, and grand processions.
