Mumbai: The five-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Ranbir Kapoor’s residence concluded as he and his mother, Neetu Kapoor, bid farewell to Bappa.
The mother-son duo was seen performing the Ganpati Visarjan rituals. In videos captured by paparazzi, Ranbir carried Lord Ganesha’s idol as he stepped out of the car, with Neetu walking beside him.
Both looked radiant in traditional attire. Ranbir donned a blue kurta paired with white pyjamas, while Neetu looked elegant in a white ethnic suit. The pair were also seen chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” as they offered their prayers before the visarjan.
They concluded the rituals by folding their hands in prayer and performing aarti to bid a respectful farewell to Lord Ganesha.
On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will next star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. This marks Ranbir’s first collaboration with Bhansali since his debut in 2007’s Saawariya. While Vicky Kaushal is teaming up with the filmmaker for the first time, Alia previously worked with Bhansali in the 2022 drama Gangubai Kathiawadi. Additionally, Ranbir is set to portray Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated two-part epic Ramayana.
