SRINAGAR: The Government College of Education (IASE), M.A. Road, Srinagar, celebrated National Sports Day with an energetic two-day sports festival, bringing together students and staff for a series of exciting competitions.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation across various sports, highlighting teamwork, athleticism, and camaraderie among all involved.
Under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Seema Naz, Principal of the College, the festivities began with high-energy activities, including traditional games such as Tug of War, where teams of staff and students competed with great zeal. Fast-paced Table Tennis matches showcased precision and quick reflexes, while Volleyball and Badminton tournaments added even more thrill and excitement to the celebrations.
The sports day not only promoted healthy competition but also underscored the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Students and staff together created a lively and positive environment, fostering a sense of community across the campus.
