DODA: As part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations and the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Government Dy SP Aman Thakur Memorial Degree College Kastigarh today organized a Tiranga Rally followed by a cleanliness drive at Nagri Water Spring. The event was held under the guidance of Principal Prof. Koushal Kumar Manhas, with enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, and students.
The rally featured participants carrying the national flag and chanting slogans under the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, aimed at fostering community engagement and patriotism.
At Nagri Water Spring, a large-scale cleanliness drive was conducted to promote hygiene, prevent water pollution, and encourage environmental conservation. The initiative also emphasized the dignity of labor among students and raised awareness on effective waste management.
Principal Prof. Manhas lauded the participants for combining patriotism with environmental responsibility. The program was coordinated by Dr. Sunil Kotwal, with support from Prof. Sat Pal, Dr. Arien Singh, and Dr. Anurama Lata, and concluded with a pledge to continue such initiatives regularly.
