JAMMU: Government Degree College Marh today screened an informative video highlighting the physical, psychological, and social harms of tobacco use as part of the “No Tobacco Campaign 3.0.”
The event was coordinated by Prof. Malti Rajput, Convener of the Prahari Club Nasha Mukt Bharat.
Addressing the students, Principal Prof. Ramneek Kour stressed the serious health risks linked to smoking and other tobacco products and urged the youth to take a stand for a tobacco-free society.
The programme concluded with an interactive session between faculty and students, reaffirming the college’s dedication to the national mission of eliminating tobacco use among young people.
Faculty members who took part in the discussion included Dr. Balwinder Saini, Prof. Sachin Kumar, Dr. Shakun Sharma, and Prof. Surbhi Gupta.
