RAMBAN: Government Degree College (GDC) Ramban today organized an awareness programme on the JK Samadhan and JK Sehat initiatives, following the directives of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan. The event was hosted by the Department of Computer Applications in collaboration with the College’s Skill Committee.
In his inaugural address, College Principal Prof. Satish Kumar emphasized the importance of digital governance and the online initiatives launched by the government for citizen welfare. He noted that such platforms enhance transparency, accessibility, and efficiency in public service delivery.
The programme featured resource persons including Prof. Aditya Sharma (HOD, Computer Applications), Dr. Anuj Gupta (HOD, Geography), and Dr. Vishal Baloria (HOD, History). They discussed the objectives, key features, and benefits of the JK Samadhan and JK Sehat platforms and provided step-by-step demonstrations on how to register on these services.
An on-the-spot registration drive followed the interactive sessions, during which students enrolled on both platforms. They were also encouraged to guide and assist their families and community members in registering for these services.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Prof. Arjun Gupta. Other dignitaries present included Prof. Raj Kumar Gupta (HOD, Chemistry) and Prof. Sanjay Kumar Katal (HOD, Physics).
