Organised under the supervision of Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul, the initiative was part of the celebrations marking 79 years of India’s Independence and aligned with the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
The drive aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving natural water bodies in the context of climate change and sustainable development goals.
Students were educated on the need to maintain cleanliness around water sources, the importance of waste segregation, and how improper waste disposal can block drains and contaminate drinking water.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Anu Sharma, NSS Programme Officer, and Prof. Vasundra Raje.
