KATHUA: Government Degree College Ramkote organised an Internship Certificate Distribution Ceremony to acknowledge the achievements of Semester-V students who successfully completed their Summer Internship Programme in Major Education, Political Science, and Sociology.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to Zonal Medical Officer Dr. Raj Kumar, under whose supervision the internship was conducted.
The 15-day internship, held during July–August 2025 at Ayushman Arogya Mandir, provided students with hands-on training in operating basic medical equipment, administering first aid, and checking blood pressure and blood group. The programme aimed to enhance employability skills and enable students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical, real-world scenarios.
During the ceremony, students were felicitated with certificates in recognition of their commitment and hard work.
Faculty members present included Prof. Pankaj Nandan (IQAC Convener), Prof. Suresh Chander (Convener, Cultural Committee), Prof. Anu Sharma (NSS PO), Prof. Vasundra Raje (HoD Sociology), Sushil Singh, Krishan Singh, and Ankush Kundral.
