RAMBAN: As part of the nationwide Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh Pakhwada (1st–15th November 2025), Janjatiya Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Sangaldan.

The event marked the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the revered tribal freedom fighter who led a courageous struggle against British rule and became an enduring symbol of tribal pride and resistance.

Students and staff paid tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda through speeches, cultural performances, and thematic displays that showcased the rich traditions, heritage, and vibrant culture of tribal communities.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal underscored the importance of preserving tribal identity and recognizing the significant role of tribal leaders in India’s freedom movement. The celebration concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the values of unity, equality, and cultural pride inspired by Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s legacy.
