Google Introduces AI-Powered Flight Deals to Simplify Travel Planning

Google is making it easier than ever to find the best flight deals with its new AI-powered tool. Designed to help travelers save money, the feature—called Flight Deals—leverages artificial intelligence to simplify the search process and deliver tailored results.

If you’ve been hunting for affordable flights online, Google says Flight Deals is the solution you need. By entering simple text prompts, users can see personalized flight options appear almost instantly, taking the guesswork out of travel planning.

Where and When:
Flight Deals will roll out over the next few weeks for users in the US, Canada, and India. It will be accessible on both web and mobile through the dedicated Flight Deals page.

How It Works:
Flight Deals uses Google’s advanced AI models to understand exactly what travelers are looking for. By combining this understanding with live Google Flights data, it provides up-to-date, relevant results. The search interface, powered by Google’s Gemini AI, can interpret your travel preferences—including budget, destinations, dates, and travel style—and generate flight options accordingly.

“You can describe when, where, and how you’d like to travel, and Flight Deals will take care of the rest,” Google notes. Example prompts like “week-long trip this winter to a city with great food, nonstop only” help the AI provide the most relevant flight options.

Not Replacing Classic Google Flights:
Despite its advanced AI capabilities, Flight Deals is currently an experimental feature. Google emphasizes that the traditional Google Flights service will remain available, offering users both the classic and AI-enhanced options for planning their trips.
