Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary Inaugurates 22nd Senior National Soft Tennis Championship Prospects in Srinagar
SRINAGAR: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today inaugurated the Prospects of the 22nd Senior National Soft Tennis Championship, scheduled to be held from 1st to 6th November 2025 in Jammu and Kashmir.
In his address, the Deputy CM lauded the J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association and the J&K Sports Council for their efforts in nurturing a vibrant sports culture across the Union Territory. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting emerging sports disciplines in J&K.
Applauding the enthusiasm of players, Choudhary urged them to aim high and strive to represent India at international platforms such as the Olympic Games, World Cups, and Asian Championships.



“Perseverance, discipline, and hard work are the true hallmarks of sporting excellence,” he remarked.
He also extended his best wishes to the organizers and participants of the upcoming 22nd Senior National Soft Tennis Championship.
The event was attended by office bearers of the J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association, members of the organizing committee, and the J&K Soft Tennis team set to participate in the national championship.
On the occasion, the Association’s representatives expressed their gratitude to the Deputy CM for his unwavering support and encouragement toward sports promotion and youth development in Jammu and Kashmir.
