GPC Chanderkote organises series of activities under SVEEP


RAMBAN: Government Polytechnic College, Chanderkote has taken proactive strides in promoting civic responsibility towards the electoral process by organizing a series of Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities.

Under the guidance of District Election Officer Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary and the supervision of Nodal Officer SVEEP (ACP) Ramban, Ashfaq Khanji, the endeavour aims at instilling the significance of electoral participation among the youth.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff members, including many first-time voters. Resource persons   of district SVEEP Cell emphasised the institution’s steadfast dedication to nurturing democratic values and fostering civic engagement among the youth. It underscores the pivotal role educational institutions play in moulding responsible citizens and fortifying the democratic ethos of our nation.

The campaign emphasized the pivotal role of strong civic engagement in shaping the democratic landscape. The vibrant participation of youth, alongside members of the public and election personnel, underscored the collective commitment to fostering an informed electorate.
