Jammu: An encounter erupted between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Friday night, Army officials said.
“In an intelligence-based operation in the Kishtwar area, alert troops of the White Knight Corps made contact with terrorists around 8 pm,” the White Knight Corps posted on X.
Confirming the exchange of fire, the Army stated, “The operation is still in progress.”
