Kanpur: Akshay Kumar Launches ‘Jolly LLB 3’ Trailer, Sends Strong Anti-Tobacco Message
The much-anticipated trailer of Jolly LLB 3 was unveiled in Kanpur on Wednesday, with Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla gracing the grand event together.
At the press conference, Akshay Kumar made headlines not just for the film, but also for delivering a firm message against tobacco consumption.
When a reporter asked about his experience portraying a Kanpur-based character and the city’s association with gutka (tobacco), Akshay responded succinctly: “Balki gutka nahi khana chahiye” (Tobacco should not be consumed).
The journalist attempted to interject, but Akshay, known for his quick wit, humorously retorted, “Interview mera hai ya tumhara? Main bol raha hoon, gutka nahi khana chahiye, that’s it.” (“Is this my interview or yours? I’m saying one should not consume gutka.”) His reply quickly went viral on social media.
The trailer offers a glimpse into the courtroom showdown between Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, with Saurabh Shukla reprising his role as Judge Tripathi. True to the franchise’s spirit, the film showcases two ‘Jollies’ vying to prove who the real one is. The three-minute-six-second trailer highlights constant clashes between the two lawyers, while Judge Tripathi struggles to maintain order in his courtroom.
Alongside Akshay and Arshad, the film features Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Seema Biswas. Gajraj Rao takes on the role of the antagonist, while Seema Biswas portrays a grieving mother.
Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 3 is slated to release in theaters on September 19, 2025.
