Jammu & Kashmir, December 19: The Meteorological Department has issued a weather advisory predicting rain and snowfall across Jammu & Kashmir starting tomorrow. Residents, especially in hilly and snow-prone areas, are advised to take necessary precautions.
Authorities have been directed to ensure road safety, maintain uninterrupted power and water supply, and make arrangements for timely clearance of snow and water-logging. People are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rainfall or snowfall and follow updates from local authorities.
The advisory also cautions farmers and outdoor workers to protect crops, livestock, and essential equipment from the adverse weather conditions expected over the coming days.
