Srinagar, Dec 01: Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF), Jammu Frontier, Ashok Yadav said that ‘Operation Sindoor’ is continuing with heightened vigilance along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch sectors.
Speaking to reporters, IG Yadav stated that BSF troops remain on high alert to foil any infiltration attempts and to counter smuggling of arms, ammunition, and narcotics across the border. He emphasised that the operation is part of a sustained effort to strengthen border security and ensure peace in sensitive areas.
“Our jawans are maintaining round-the-clock surveillance along the LoC. The operation is aimed at neutralising threats and preventing any unlawful activity across the frontier,” IG Yadav said.
Officials added that BSF has intensified patrolling, deployed advanced monitoring equipment, and coordinated closely with other security agencies to maintain strict vigilance. The force has also engaged with local communities to encourage reporting of suspicious activities.
Authorities reiterated that Operation Sindoor will continue until the situation stabilises, underscoring BSF’s commitment to safeguarding national security along the border.
