NEW DELHI: Following recent unrest in Nepal, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Wednesday issued a travel advisory, including helpline numbers, for Indian citizens residing in Nepal.
The MEA has advised Indians to postpone travel to Nepal until the situation stabilizes. “Indian citizens currently in Nepal are urged to stay indoors, avoid venturing onto the streets, and exercise utmost caution,” the advisory stated.
The Ministry also recommended that citizens follow local safety instructions issued by Nepali authorities and stay in contact with the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.
