In men’s cricket, India will face hosts Australia in the final match of the five-game T20 series at the Gabba in Brisbane today, with play starting at 1:45 PM IST. The Men in Blue sealed a 48-run victory in the fourth match at Carrara Oval, Queensland, on Thursday to lead the series 2-1.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav and his team will look to wrap up the series in style, while Australia aims to bounce back and tackle India’s potent spin attack in their final T20 outing before next year’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, pacer Jasprit Bumrah stands on the brink of history — needing just one wicket to become only the second Indian bowler to claim 100 wickets in T20 Internationals. If he reaches the milestone in Brisbane, Bumrah will also become the first Indian to take 100 or more wickets across all three formats of international cricket.
