Akhnoor: In a significant step towards fostering economic empowerment and financial inclusion, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the Civil Administration and J&K Bank, successfully conducted a Financial Inclusivity Drive in the border areas of Khour, Akhnoor. This initiative aligns with the national mission of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) and aims to bring banking services to the doorstep of the local population, ensuring financial security and self-sufficiency.
The drive, conducted in remote villages along the border, sought to educate and assist residents in accessing formal banking facilities.
