Reasi: In a compassionate outreach effort, the Indian Army conducted a medical patrol in the remote Bharakh village of Reasi district, extending essential healthcare services to the local population, including Gujjar and Bakkarwals. The medical team provided on-the-spot consultations, conducted basic health check-ups, and distributed medicines for common illnesses. The patrol also educated villagers on preventive healthcare practices, emphasizing the importance of hygiene, balanced nutrition, and early illness detection.
A total of 24 villagers comprising 10 men, 9 women, and 5 children benefited directly from the initiative. The locals expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the Indian Army for bringing medical assistance to their doorstep in an otherwise inaccessible area. This initiative reflects the Indian Army’s commitment to fostering goodwill and supporting the health and well-being of communities in remote and underserved regions.
