Ramban: The Indian Army Conducting pre-training classes for Agniveer, aspirants under the Agnipath scheme commenced today with a solemn and inspiring opening ceremony held at Karawa Camp Banihal.
The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, training staff, and a large number of enthusiastic candidates who are preparing to serve the nation through this prestigious program. The ceremony began with the warm welcome of the chief guest, Mrs Rubina Ahmed Bhat, ZEPO, Banihal whose presence greatly encouraged the candidates. In her address, she emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity and commitment in shaping the future of the youth and building a strong nation.
Delivering the opening address, Officer of Indian Army said, “This training is not just a physical or academic preparation; it is the beginning of a transformation where each one of you will learn what it truly means to wear the identity of an Agniveer. This journey will not only demand your best, but it will also prepare you to serve the country with honor and pride”.
The pre-training classes aim to prepare aspiring candidates holistically focusing on physical fitness, mental toughness, academic readiness and values-based orientation. Trainers and coordinators will mentor the candidates in alignment with the Indian Armed Forces’ expectations, building a strong foundation for their upcoming selection processes.
The ceremony was concluded with a collective pledge by all aspirants to uphold the values of patriotism, dedication and discipline throughout their journey.
