Indian Army Conducts Cricket Tournament for Children at Darhal, Rajouri

Rajouri : On the fourth day of the L/Nk Md Iqbal Malik VrC Inter-School Cricket Tournament Semifinals, played in Darhal, high-adrenaline matches and impressive sporting performances were witnessed between the teenagers of Darhal.

The match was between Boys Higher Secondary School, Ojhhan and Boys Higher Secondary School, Nadiyan. Boys Higher Secondary School, Ojhhan batted first and scored 67 runs in 10 overs. The bowlers of Dhandkote bowled beautifully and restricted the strong batting lineup of Ojhhan. Boys Higher Secondary School, Dhandkote chased the target of 67 runs in the seventh over and won the match by four wickets, becoming the first finalists. Player of the Match: Waqar Ahmed Mirza of Boys Higher Secondary School, Dhandkote bowled 3 overs, and with his medium-pace, wicket-to-wicket bowling, he took three wickets, earning the victory for his team. The next match was between Boys Higher Secondary School, Darhal and Government Degree College, Darhal.
