Rajouri : As part of Operation Sadbhavana, the Indian Army has started Electrician, Carpenter Cadre, and Sainik School classes in the villages of Deeing (Kalal), Parat, and Lam in Rajouri district. This skill-development program is aimed at equipping local youth with essential vocational skills, enhancing their employability, and fostering self-reliance.

These training cadres are designed to provide participants with practical expertise and modern skill development techniques. The program will benefit over 25-30 individuals, empowering them to contribute meaningfully to their communities or establish employment ventures.

This initiative is part of the Indian Army’s continued efforts to uplift underprivileged regions by addressing local developmental challenges and promoting socio-economic progress. By creating opportunities for skill development, the Indian Army aims to encourage self-reliance and a better future for the youth in these remote areas. The cadres have received an overwhelmingly positive response from the community.

Participants have expressed their gratitude for the opportunity, highlighting the value of the training in improving their skills and career prospects. Electrician toolkits have also been given to the participants, and certificates for completing the cadre will be awarded upon its completion. The Indian Army remains committed to empowering youth through such initiatives, ensuring sustainable growth and development for the nation’s most underserved regions.
