Doda: The Indian Army conducted a comprehensive drug awareness program at government Industrial Training Institute to raise awareness and foster understanding about the dangers of drug abuse. The event witnessed active participation from all students and faculty of the institution, all united to combat the menace of drug abuse.
This initiative sought to educate everyone about the risks associated with substance abuse, foster a supportive environment, and inspire them to make healthy decisions. The program included a series of impactful sessions delivered by experts in the field of drug counselling and law enforcement. These informative lectures covered a wide range of topics, including the consequences of drug addiction, recognizing warning signs, building resilience, and seeking help. A total of 125 students and 15 teachers attended the event.
The lectures aimed to promote ongoing dialogue and awareness about substance abuse within society. This initiative is designed to create a safe, drug-free environment for all people and students. The lectures were a great success, with attendees expressing appreciation for the opportunity to learn about the harms of drug use. The Indian Army plans to continue such events in the future to help create a drug-free environment in India.
