Rajouri :The Indian Army at Samote organised a lecture on pre recruitment training for youth at Samote on 03 Mar 2025. The aim of conducting this lecture is to motivate the talented and potential youth to join Armd Forces of our country. In due course, youths were also briefed about the detailed Officers selection procedure (Issue of UPSC Notification, Written Examination, SSB Interview, Medical Test and Final Merit) and Army Soldier selection procedure. It was also informed to them all those who are desirous of getting enrolled in the Indian Army as JCO/OR are required to apply online at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
The registration process and the subsequent steps to apply for different trades were also discussed. The youth were informed that the Indian Army Recruitment Board conducts the recruitment in every state with pre planned scheduled in every year. The lecture provided crucial insights about PFT (Physical Fitness Test), PMT (Physical Measurement Test), Document verification, MT (Medical Test) and CEE (Common Entrance Exam). The final merit list is determined based on performance in these stages.
This initiative by the Army is a commendable effort to win the hearts and mind of the local people while guiding eligible and aspiring candidates toward a career in the armed forces. Local youth thanked and expressed their profound gratitude towards the Army for conducting the lecture and taking this noble initiative for youths to motivate the talented and potential students to join pre-recruitment training. This initiative will go a long way in overall development of the students. A total of 25 youths were benefitted by attending the said lecture.
