Poonch: In a heart-warming initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged students, the Indian Army at Mendhar conducted a welfare program at Model Academy School, Sagra in Mendhar under Op Sadbhavana, distributing books and uniforms to students from Below Poverty Line families.
This noble effort is part of the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and development, ensuring that education remains accessible to children from economically weaker sections. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students, teachers, and local dignitaries, who lauded the selfless efforts of the Indian Army.
A total of 80 students were benefitted from the initiative. The school administration expressed its gratitude for the support extended by the Indian Army and highlighted the positive impact such initiatives have on students’ morale and academic performance. Parents of the beneficiaries also appreciated the assistance, acknowledging the financial relief it provided to their families.
