Rajouri: The Indian Army organized a lecture on “Career Opportunities for Youth in the Armed Forces” at Khawas on 14 October 2025. The event aimed to educate and motivate students about the diverse career avenues available in the Indian Armed Forces, inspiring them to serve the nation with pride and dedication.
During the session, participants were briefed on various modes of entry, eligibility criteria, selection procedures, training modules, and career progression opportunities in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The lecture also emphasized the values of patriotism, discipline, and responsibility, encouraging students to view military service as a noble and fulfilling career choice.
A total of 53 participants, including 2 teachers and 51 students (24 girls and 27 boys), attended the event. The interactive session generated enthusiastic participation, with students actively engaging in discussions and seeking clarity on recruitment processes and professional growth within the armed forces.
The Indian Army continues to conduct such outreach programs to inspire and guide youth, especially in remote and underprivileged regions, towards careers in national service. The local youth and school staff expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Army for organizing this informative and motivational event, which they said would play a vital role in shaping young minds for nation-building.
