Poonch: In a significant gesture of communal harmony and people’s connect, the Indian Army proudly participated in the Peer Sakhi Sarwar Mela held at Sakhi Peer Maidan — a revered shrine and cultural hub in the region. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals, civil authorities and security forces, reaffirming the spirit of unity and mutual respect.
The Indian Army’s presence at the mela not only showcased its commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region but also reflected its deep-rooted connection with the people of Mendhar. Soldiers interacted warmly with devotees and ensured a safe and peaceful environment throughout the celebrations.
