Rajouri :The Indian Army organised a two days Ans Valley Festival at Kotranka, Rajouri District. The event aimed to promote community engagement, cultural exchange and recognition of ex-servicemen’s contributions.
The festival featured exciting sports, academic and cultural events including volleyball, tug of war, elocution, patriotic group song, and dance competitions. Students and locals enthusiastically participated in showcasing their talents. Ex-servicemen and widows from Kandi, Budhal, Khawas, and Samote were felicitated, acknowledging their invaluable service to the nation.
The Ans Valley Festival brought together 712 individuals fostering a sense of unity and pride among residents. Locals, Sarpanchs, Panchs, students, elders and ex-servicemen expressed gratitude towards the army for organizing this grand event. This initiative strengthens community ties and bridges the gap between the Indian army and Awam. The Indian Army remains committed to supporting the region and engaging with the community through such initiatives.
