Poonch : Indian Army organised a lecture on “Career Opportunity for women” at Harni, Mendhar on 10 Oct 2024. With an aim to educate and spread awareness on Women empowerment and Career Opportunity for Women’ in Jammu and Kashmir, Indian Army organised a lecture at Harni, Mendhar to highlight importance of choosing streams after matric & related career opportunity therein to women. In recent years, there has been a significant shift in the role of women in the workforce.
The main objective of the lecture was to spread awareness amongst the youth on the latest opportunities for induction of women in the Armed Forces. During the lecture, various entry schemes and entries for commission and enrolment in the Indian Army were explained to the students including qualification requirements.
