Indian Army Organised Medical & Veterinary Camp At Machna Kishtwar

Kishtwar: With an aim to reduce hardships of people living in far flung areas of Kishtwar, Indian Army organized a Medical & Veterinary Camp for the local populace of Machna area of Kishtwar district. During the camp, problems of the people were addressed through medical opinion and free treatment, given by doctors and medical staff. Veterinary doctors from Animal Husbandry Department and free lancers actively participated in the event.

Apart from providing medical treatment, efforts were made to raise awareness in the local people about various diseases and medical conditions. The Indian Army is proud to contribute to the health and well-being of the residents of village-Machna and surrounding areas. 238 civilians along with 113 livestock were treated from villages of Machna from the medical and veterinary camp.

The camp was highly appreciated by the locals, which was evident from the overwhelming response. The locals expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for the camp and requested to organize more such camps on regular basis.
