Rajouri :In an effort to address the healthcare needs of residents in the remote areas of Rajouri, Indian Army organised a free Medical and Vetnary camp on 10 Oct 2024 at Gambhir for Gujjar & Bakarawal. This initiative aims to extend crucial medical services to the underprivileged communities, fostering health and well-being.
The camp offered free consultations, basic health check-ups and distribution of essential medicines. The Indian Army is committed in ensuring that residents in these remote areas have access to quality healthcare, promoting a healthier and stronger community.
This initiative aligns with the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to serve the nation beyond defence, exemplifying their dedication to the well-being of citizens. A total of 78 Male, 28 Female, 07 Children and 07 Buffalo, 40 goat, 12 Mule and 02 Horse were screened in the camp and provided with proper Medicare and free medicines by the doctors from the Indian Army.
The free medical camp underscores the Army ethos of solidarity and support, showcasing the positive impact that collaborative efforts can have on the health.
