Rajouri: In an effort to inspire and motivate the youth, Indian Army has organised a special screening of the motivational movie “Amaran” for school children of Tender Feet School, Keri. The event instilled values of courage, patriotism, and leadership in young minds through the extraordinary story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Indian Army Officer who lost his life during a counter-terrorism operation; making the core narrative of the film real.
This initiative by the Indian Army underscores its commitment to foster a sense of National pride and responsibility among school students, by showcasing the heroic journey of Major Mukund Varadarajan who played a pivotal role in India’s military history with his exemplary leadership skills and dedication to the nation.
The screening was attended by 72 students and 05 teachers, which was followed by an interactive session, allowing students to engage with army personnel and gain insights into the life and values of Major Mukund Varadarajan. This dialogue aims to inspire students to emulate his virtues in their personal and academic endeavours. Students and teachers expressed their enthusiasm towards Indian Army for the event, stating, “Major Mukund Varadarajan story is a beacon of inspiration”. Teachers also stated that this motivational screening will motivate young generation to strive for excellence and cultivate a deep sense of duty towards our nation.”
