Poonch: The Indian Army organized an Amity Meet at Haribudha village in the Poonch District. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local community, including civil administration representatives, the Sarpanch, Nambardar, and village elders from Haribudha and surrounding areas.
The Amity Meet marked a significant step towards fostering consistent and constructive engagement between the Indian Army and civil society. During the event, the villagers shared the challenges they encounter in their daily lives. The Indian Army assured them that their concerns would be addressed on a priority basis. The youth were also briefed on the qualifications required to join the Indian Army and were encouraged to contribute positively to the progress of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The local residents expressed their appreciation for the Indian Army’s continuous support and emphasized the importance of organizing such interactions regularly to strengthen the bond between the Indian Army and Awam. They lauded the Indian Army’s unwavering support during times of need and reiterated their trust in its efforts. The meeting concluded with a community lunch, providing an opportunity for informal interaction and strengthening the spirit of camaraderie between the Indian Army and the villagers.
