Indian Army Organized Free Medical Camp at Khanpur, Nagrota, Jammu

Jammu : A free medical camp was organized by Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavna in coordination with Sarpanches, Block Medical Officer and Ayush medicines at Khanpur, Nagrota. A Large number of people of all age groups including old aged citizens, ladies and children were provided free medical care and specialist medical treatment by one of the best doctors of Army, civil hospital and Ayush medicines. During the camp, health of the villagers was examined and they were given health advice and medicines.

Block medical officer and civil doctors assisted in the conduct of medical camp. In the camp, patients were examined and given specific medical advice. After completion of the investigation, medicines mentioned on the medical slips were also distributed. Sarpanch and other civil functionaries were also present during the camp.

 The doctors who conducted the camp were felicitated. At the same time, people appreciated this event. They said that along with the security of the country, the Indian Army is also working for public welfare by organizing such free medical camps for the people. People expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and requested the Indian Army to organize more such camps in future. During this, Army health experts made the citizens present in the program aware about the need for good health and different types of lifestyle diseases and laid emphasis on prevention of infectious and environmental disease.
