Indian Army Provide Emergency Medical Aid to Local Civilian in Remote Region Dhakikot, Rajouri

On 19 May 2025 at approximately 1645 hours, a local civilian sustained a crush injury to his abdomen after a heavy stone (weighing around 45–50 kg) accidentally fell on him while he was engaged in house construction. The injured individual was brought to the Regimental Aid Post (RAP) of Indian Army by local residents during an ongoing operation in the area.

The Regimental Medical Officer (RMO) promptly administered emergency first aid, including pain management and supportive care. After stabilization, the individual was referred to Government Hospital, Kotranka for further evaluation, including X-ray and ultrasound, to rule out any internal injuries or complications.

The individual’s vital parameters were found to be within normal limits, and his condition was reported as stable. The swift and professional response by the Army medical team highlights its continued commitment to the welfare and well-being of the local populace.
