Rajouri: Creating sustainable job avenues and promoting green energy, the Indian Army inaugurated the LED Assembly Workshop cum Factory at Rajouri on 13 September 2024, as part of Youth Skill Development Project under Op Sadhbhavna.
This joint venture by Indian Army and Career Trust Park (NGO) aims to provide meaningful employment opportunities to more than 75 candidates by providing basic infrastructure and imparting necessary training to assemble and package various LED based lights such as Bulbs, street lights, emergency lights, flood lights etc.






The Project entails total 500 hours of skill development training to each candidate spread over 90 days. Upon successful completion of the training, each candidate will be given certification recognised all over India for future prospects. This initiative by the Indian Army will propel the youth of Rajouri towards constructive endeavours thereby promoting peace, stability & prosperity in the region.
